Our Vision
The rediscovery of the music of David Nowakowsky is one of the most important musical events of the 20th century. Suppressed by the Czarist regime, banned by the Bolsheviks, hunted by the Nazis, saved from destruction only to be lost in archives, Nowakowsky's music deserves to be celebrated alongside the great composers of his time.
Our productions appeal to every faith and culture, bringing music that has not been heard in over a hundred years to fresh audiences. Rooted in Jewish culture and history, Ron Graner brings a rich career as an opera singer, cantor, and event producer to the mission. Promoting an interfaith appreciation, global outlook and humanist framework, unity not division is the musical score we sing.
With a special ear towards the ways that music delivers story and unites humanity, we compose modern, playful experiences that delight while lifting Nowakowsky's legacy out of obscurity.
